01Thorough cleaning
Thorough cleaning
For the film to adhere properly, the surface must be completely clean, dry and free of grease. Clean it thoroughly with a suitable glass cleaner and a clean cloth. Make sure no dust remains.
02Position and secure
Position and secure
Place the design and transfer film in the desired position on the clean surface. Secure the top edge with masking tape to create a stable hinge. This lets you check the position before applying it.
03Remove backing paper
Remove backing paper
Lift the film gently from the bottom while keeping the top edge secured with tape. Slowly peel the white backing paper away at a flat 180-degree angle. Make sure all letters remain on the clear transfer film.
04Press down with a squeegee
Press down with a squeegee
Lower the transfer film slowly onto the surface. Use a squeegee with firm, even pressure, working from the center outward. Overlap your strokes slightly to prevent air bubbles and creases.
05Remove transfer film

Once the vinyl is firmly applied, peel off the clear transfer film very slowly. Keep it flat against the surface, ideally at 180 degrees. If a letter lifts with the film, lay it back down and press the letter firmly.
06Final result
Final result
Your film is now applied! Check that it lies smooth and free of bubbles. If needed, prick small bubbles with a fine needle and press the air out. Application is complete.
